About Us
Nigeria's Elite K9 Institution
9JA-K9 Academy was founded on a single belief: Nigerian dog owners and security operators deserve world-class K9 training on their own soil.
Our Story
Built in Nigeria, For Nigeria
9JA-K9 Academy was born from a frustration: the gap between the quality of international K9 training and what was available in Nigeria. Our founder, having trained with some of the world's best handlers, returned home determined to change that.
We built our methodology from the ground up — adapting international best practices to Nigeria's unique climate, culture, and security landscape. The result is the 9JA-K9 Tactical Control System™ — a proprietary training framework that has produced over 100 certified dogs.
Today, 9JA-K9 Academy trains dogs for families, estates, corporations, and security agencies across Nigeria and West Africa. We also run Nigeria's first structured online K9 academy — making professional knowledge accessible to anyone, anywhere.
